SolarPV.TV team attended the 1st International Conference on PV module recycling organized by PV CYCLE and EPIA in collaboration with the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre.
We had the opportunity to learn first-hand from different industry associations and companies what is currently being done to implement recycling mechanisms and to minimise the environmental impact of end-of-life solar panels.
Today we are bringing you our interview with Thierry Dalle, Business Development and Project Manager, Umicore Recycling Solutions, he speaks about the differences in recycling of Solar PV modules and electronic sector.
Who is Thierry Dalle?
Business Development and Project Manager, Umicore Recycling Solutions.
Born in1957 in Antwerp, Belgium. He holds a Master Degree in Engineering (KU Leuven) and in Management (Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School).
Since 1983, and with the exception of two years as Purchasing Director of the De Ster group, he has held several positions at Umicore, a materials technology group, as Commercial and Supply Chain Manager, followed by Corporate Development (M&A) and General Management of the Business Line Electronics and Datastorage in Balzers (Liechtenstein).

He is currently Business Development and Project Manager in the area of recycling solutions.
